Question by Wild Tail: Straight talk phone with full bars has no signal and won’t call, stoped working randomly, someone help?
Ok so I have had my straight talk phone for just about 7 months and yesterday thursday 7/28/2011 between the hours of 6:00 AM and 10:00 AM my phone took a crap. I woke up early at 6:00 AM and texted my gf about 5 times then went back to bed, I awoke again at 10:00 AM to a phone call.. I anwsered the call and someone had asked for someone but I couldn’t hear who… so I asked who and the phone signal dropped.. I tried to call the number back but the phone contuinuously tried to call with 4 bars (full signal strength) with no ring then about 1 minute later declares that the call can not be made. Later I tried to call my gf but the same thing happened.. then I called about 4 other people and the same thing happened, I even called few 1-800 numbers but same thing. only 911 will call through. There is nothing on a similar problem when I search for it, also if it’s any help I live in the north eastern half of indiana. Can anyone give me any suggestions as to what went wrong I can’t figure it out, and if there is anyone who has also had this problem can you tell me how you fixed it?
Addtional details include: The phone was on the charger, it was no where near magnets or water, and I had no power surges.. also I can’t send texts or get on the internet, but if someone sends me a text I will recieve it 9 hours later, my sound still works because my MP3 player on my phone works, and when someone calls it goes straight to my voicemail even though my phone is on and has full signal.

I would say that your service has become deactivated… you need to call the Straight Talk customer support.
